2018 Wine & Food Showcase Scheduled for Friday, February 16

Indianola, IA — Des Moines Metro Opera’s (DMMO) annual Wine & Food Showcase will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm in the Des Moines Marriott Downtown’s Hall of Cities. Started in 1985, this annual food and beverage event is the oldest in the area and has become an annual favorite for foodies, oenophiles and brew heads alike. Featuring nearly 40 of the finest restaurants, wineries and breweries from the metro, the Wine & Food Showcase has become the premiere event of its kind in Des Moines and has become Des Moines Metro Opera’s signature fundraiser. Guests may sample the night away as local vendors present their best and most innovative fares and flavors at this one-of-a-kind food and beverage event which directly supports the education and community engagement programs of DMMO, which reach over 90,000 individuals every year. The evening also includes a silent auction featuring unique cultural experiences and operatic travel packages that can only be found at the Wine & Food Showcase.
