Des Moines Metro Opera is a nationally recognized progressive opera company that has taken its place among America's leading opera festivals. The company is committed to opera as a living art form, and to that end,

PRODUCES a Summer Opera Festival that offers diverse operatic works at the highest artistic standards;
PROVIDES quality opportunities for American-trained talent in all facets of opera performance, production and administration;
DEVELOPS audiences of all ages through year-round educational programs; and

    You are cordially invited to attend a collaborative exhibition showcasing a pairing of select art works from the Kum & Go collection and vocal art featuring artist Brandon Hendrickson. Each pairing of art and opera unfolds a precise experience. Join us for drinks, hors d'oeuvres and discovery.

    $25 at the door, free for donors at the $1,000 Patron Level or Above

    The 40 aspiring singers selected as 2015 Apprentice Artists open the season in the theatre lobby with their signature aria. Come early, leave if you must, but enjoy all (or a portion of) the evening's music!
