A glamorous evening in one of DSM's most stunning architectural marvels.
Fresh off the international acclaim of the opera’s 2024 season—from glowing reviews in The New Yorker and The Wall Street Journal to a 2024 International Opera Awards nomination—Des Moines Metro Opera invites you to experience an evening of breathtaking music, glamour and celebration at the 2025 Opera Gala, held in one of downtown Des Moines’ most iconic buildings, the Krause Gateway Center.
Enjoy an elegant cocktail reception before an exquisite dining experience and program, complete with stunning performances by DMMO principal artists. After the program concludes, the party continues with the refreshments, desserts and dancing at the Afterparty. Mingle with DMMO’s professional artists and artisans and dance the night away as we toast to the success of the 2025 Festival Season.
