Wine, Food & Beer Showcase returns to Des Moines on March 7

Indianola, IA—Des Moines Metro Opera (DMMO) is delighted to announce the return of its signature tasting event and fundraiser, the Wine, Food & Beer Showcase, scheduled for Friday, March 7, from 6–9pm at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown. The Wine, Food & Beer Showcase is presented by TruBank.
Established in 1985, the Wine, Food & Beer Showcase is one of the metro's longest running tasting events, bringing together 40 of the finest area restaurants, caterers, wineries, breweries and distilleries. Attendees will enjoy an evening of diverse and delicious samples, world-class entertainment from the opera’s professional artists and a silent auction featuring exclusive packages and travel experiences. All proceeds raised throughout the event support Des Moines Metro Opera's education and community engagement programming, including its OPERA Iowa music education tour which annually performs for over 25,000 students in urban and rural communities across the state.
Ticket Information:
- Grand Showcase: $55 in advance; $65 at the door. This ticket grants access to the main event from 6–9pm, including tastings from the 35 Grand Showcase vendors.
- Reserve Experience: $150 per person. This exclusive ticket includes access to the Grand Showcase and entry to the Reserve Experience, featuring rare and fine wines from the private collections of members of the Wine Group, paired with gourmet creations from Aura Restaurant & Lounge, Chellie’s Sugar Shack, the Des Moines Embassy Club and Lucca.
