IPR broadcasts Sondheim's A Little Night Music

As part of its 2020 Operas in October series, Iowa Public Radio will broadcast our 2017 production of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music. Sondheim’s  tour de force musical whisks us away for a weekend in the country where old ?ames rekindle and new loves ignite. The hit “Send in the Clowns” and elegant  waltzes drive this bittersweet comedy—the winner of six Tony awards including best musical. This stunning production features Kelly Kaduce as Desiree Armfeldt, Joyce Castle as Madame Armfeldt, Troy Cook as Fredrik Egerman, Lauren Snouffer as Anne Egerman, Elise Quagliata as Countess Charlotte Malcolm, Lee Gregory as Count Carl-Magnus Malcolm, Quinn Bernegger as Henrik Egerman and Aviana Gedler as Fredrika Armfeldt with Maestro Eric Melear conducting the DMMO Festival Orchestra.
