Experience one of the metro’s most anticipated tasting events of the year. Des Moines Metro Opera’s Wine, Food & Beer Showcase brings together an exceptional collection of restaurants, caterers, wineries, breweries and distilleries for an evening of indulgence, community and fun!

Guests are invited to savor unlimited samples from some of the Iowa’s most vibrant food and beverage vendors, all while supporting a powerful cause: bringing transformative music education and arts experiences to more than 25,000 students across the state through OPERA Iowa, DMMO’s statewide touring troupe.

Your Grand Showcase ticket gives you full access to the main event—a lively, free-roaming tasting experience featuring 35 food, wine, beer and spirit vendors from across Iowa. Spend the evening sampling bold flavors, discovering new favorites and enjoying pop-up opera performances of beloved arias and ensembles by professional artists. Guests will also have the chance to view stunning costumes from past DMMO productions. It’s a vibrant, come-hungry celebration of Iowa’s culinary talent and the magic of opera—all in support of OPERA Iowa!

The Reserve Experience | 6:00-7:30pm

Elevate your evening with exclusive access to the Reserve Experience, an intimate tasting room featuring high-end culinary creations from premier Des Moines restaurants, offered only to Reserve ticket holders. In this private setting, you’ll also enjoy curated wine tastings from The Wine Group, Des Moines’ premier private wine club. These passionate connoisseurs pour rare and exceptional wines (all 90-point and above) directly from their private collections—sharing stories, insights and tasting notes as they guide you through each pour.

The Silent Auction | 6:00-8:30pm

Guests may place bids on high-end silent auction packages featuring unique experiences you can only find at the Wine, Food & Beer Showcase!
