The Costumes & Wardrobe Departments at DMMO brings character and storytelling to life through beautifully realized garments, from custom-built period pieces to detailed finishing work and fast backstage changes. Blending artistry, technical skill, and opera-specific problem-solving, the team keeps performers looking impeccable throughout our demanding rotating-rep festival season. It’s an incredibly collaborative, hands-on department where staff and interns gain practical experience in construction, fittings, maintenance, quick-change choreography, and working directly with designers and performers.
